Restrict access source IP addresses

bitwallet allows you to restrict the IP addresses that can access the API. IP addresses that are allowed access must be registered in advance.


Send API security codes

To use bitwallet’s API (Application Program Interface), you will need an API security code. If you have a merchant account, you can have an API security code sent to your registered email address on the Registration Information and Settings page.


View API Specifications

If you have a merchant account, you can implement bitwallet’s API into your system and easily add bitwallet’s various services.
The API (Application Program Interface) specifications are available to facilitate development.


Set up a payer for remittance fees

The bitwallet merchant account allows merchants to set who will be responsible for remittance fees when collecting the funds from customers through bitwallet. The fee payer can be easily switched on the “Settings” page.


Pay a bill

bitwallet has a billing request function that makes it easy to collect funds between bitwallet users. Upon receiving a payment request, you can pay the request after logging into bitwallet.


Set up 2-Factor Authentication

In order to provide a more secure environment for customers, bitwallet strongly recommends the use of 2-Factor Authentication. 2-Factor Authentication involves double-checking the password entered when logging in to bitwallet and entering the verification code issued by the verification app.


Switch to a business account

bitwallet allows you to switch from a personal (individual) account to a business (corporate) account. To switch to a business account, you must be the representative of a corporation, and you will be required to submit additional certificates.


Change your phone number

With bitwallet, you can easily change your registered phone number at any time. If you have more than one phone number, you can register up to two phone numbers.


Reset your login password

The password you enter when logging in to bitwallet is the password you set yourself when you opened your account. If you forget your login password, you can reset your password from the bitwallet login screen.


Change display language

bitwallet can display three languages: Japanese, English, and Chinese. When you change the display language, the display language of the entire bitwallet site will immediately change. Please select your preferred display language.


Change secret question and answer

bitwallet uses “secret questions and answers” as security information to confirm your identity. You can easily change the “secret question and answer” at any time.
Please select one of six different questions and creating an answer that only you can know.



Change your login password

You can easily change your bitwallet login password at any time. Please create your login password with at least 8 single-byte alphanumeric characters.


Reset or email your Secure ID

You can reset your bitwallet Secure ID and issue a new one.If you forget your Secure ID, we can send it to your registered email address.
The Secure ID is automatically created by the system and cannot be changed to a string of characters of your choice.


Change your email address

bitwallet allows you to change your email address 6 months after you have registered your account.
After completing the change procedure on the “Settings” page, click on the link that will be sent to your new email address to complete the change.


Change your address

bitwallet allows you to easily change your registered address if you change your address due to moving or other reasons. To change your address, you will need to provide proof of your current address issued within the last 6 months.


Change your nickname

bitwallet allows you to register a nickname of your choice for your account. For the payments between users, it is possible to identify the payer and payee by nickname. Nicknames registered when opening a new wallet can be changed any number of times after the wallet is opened.


Check account status

bitwallet has introduced an account status system that extends the range of services available depending on the customer’s usage status and whether or not verification documents are approved.


Upload your verification documents

To verify your identity, bitwallet requires you to submit your identification documents and current address verification documents. After the approval of each certificate is completed, the available services on bitwallet will be expanded.
