Guide on how to use bitwallet

Change secret question and answer

bitwallet uses “secret questions and answers” as security information to confirm your identity. You can easily change the “secret question and answer” at any time.
Please select one of six different questions and creating an answer that only you can know.

This section explains the procedure for changing the secret question and answer.


1. Select “Settings” (①) from the menu, and click “Change” (③) in “Secret question” and “Secret Answer” under “Security” (②).

2. On the “Change Security Information” screen, enter the “answer to your current secret question” (①). Select the preferred question in “new secret question” (②), enter the “answer to your new secret question” (③), and then click “Next” (④).

The answer to the secret question can be any combination of characters including hiragana, katakana, kanji, alphabet, numbers, and symbols.

3. Confirm the changes on the “Change Security Information” confirmation screen, and click “Edit”.

4. When the message “Complete the security information” is displayed, the change of secret question and answer is complete. Click “Back to Top”.

5. When the “Settings” screen appears, select “Security” (①) and confirm that the “Secret question” (②) has been changed.

6. After the change is completed, an email ttitled “Security Information Change Successfully” will be sent to your registered email address.

For security reasons, the email will not contain the new “Secret question answer”.
