How long does it take for my verification documents to be approved?
We respond as soon as we receive the documents, and the confirmation process takes as little as 30 minutes.
We may have to keep you waiting depending on traffic congestion.

In addition, your account status will be raised to Basic when all required documents are approved.
If any deficiencies are found, the support desk will contact you by email. Please check the contents and resubmit the documents.
What documents do I need to submit when opening a new wallet?
Identification documents (photo identification and selfie) and documents verifying current address must be submitted.

- Passport: Please submit the page with your photo and signature
- My number card: Please submit the front and back of the card

- A photograph of your face taken by following the on-screen instructions

How can I change my address?
You must go to the menu “Settings” and complete the registration information change procedure. The procedure requires the submission of a current address verification document issued within the last 6 months that includes your new address. Please submit one of the following documents.

How can I change my phone number?
If you wish to change your phone number or mobile number, you can change from “Account” in the menu “Settings”.

After logging in to bitwallet, you can check your registered email address in the “Account” section of the “Settings” menu.

You can change your by yourself in the Login information under “Security” section of the “Settings” menu.

Please make sure that there are no spaces or double-byte characters in the middle of your email address.
I cannot receive SMS messages.
Please change your phone number to one that can receive SMS. You can change your phone number from “Account” in “Settings” in the menu. If you are unable to change your phone number, please contact our support desk.
