This password is different from the password for bitwallet login and is intended to prevent unauthorized use by third parties.

Secure ID is the password required when requesting a withdrawal or changing security information.
This password is different from the password for bitwallet login and is intended to prevent unauthorized use by third parties.
Your Secure ID will be sent to your registered email address by email titled “Send Secure ID” by clicking on “Send” to the right of your Secure ID in the “Account Information” section after selecting “Settings” in the menu.
You can confirm your Secure ID from the link in the email sent to you.
If an error message appears after entering your Secure ID when requesting a withdrawal or changing your security information, please make sure that you did not enter an incorrect ID and there are no spaces. If you continue to receive an error message after checking, please try resetting your Secure ID.
Please note that a Secure ID is automatically created by the system, so it is not possible to specify a password with string of characters you wish. Please see the following link for instructions on how to reset your password.
2-Factor Authentication is an effective way to strengthen your account security by preventing unauthorized access to your information by anyone other than you. 2-Factor Authentication is done by entering the authentication code issued by the authentication app in addition to the password you enter when logging in to bitwallet.
Install the authentication app and scan the bitwallet QR code to obtain the authentication code. Once the authentication code is displayed, enter the code into your account to connect it to your account. For detailed instructions, please click on the following link. If you are unable to set up your account, please contact our support desk.
If you have the QR code or account key that you used when setting up 2-Factor Authentication, you can recover it yourself. Please download the 2-Factor Authentication app again and complete the procedure. If you do not have either of them, please contact us using the contact form so that our support desk will disable the 2-Factor Authentication setting.

① Install “Google Authenticator” on the new device.
② Start “Google Authenticator” on the old device, tap the Menu button (*) and select Transfer accounts.
* The menu button is displayed with “…” for iOS and “⋮” for Android.
③ Select the account you wish to export and proceed to the next screen, where a QR code will be displayed.
④ Launch “Google Authenticator” on the new device and tap “Do you want to import an existing account?”.
⑤ Tap “Scan QR Code” to scan the QR code displayed on the old device’s app screen.

③ Select each registered service on the settings screen.

③ Enter the “Backup Password” to unlock the registered service.
