Reset your login password
The password you enter when logging in to bitwallet is the password you set yourself when you opened your account. If you forget your login password, you can reset your password from the bitwallet login screen.
This section explains the procedure for resetting your login password.
1. Go to bitwallet and click “Sign In”.
2. On the Sign in screen, click “Reset Password”.
3. When the Reset Password screen appears, enter your registered email address (①), check “I am not a robot” (②), and click “Send email” (③).
4. “Procedures completed” will be displayed and an email with a link to reset your password will be sent to your registered email address.
5. An email titled “Login Password Reset Link” will be sent to your registered email address.
The email will include a link to access the password change page. Click on the link and proceed to set your new password.
6. When the New Password screen appears, enter the new password (①) and confirmation password (②) then click “Register” (③).
7. When “Complete” is displayed, resetting the login password is complete. Click “To Sign-In Page”.
8. After resetting your login password, an email titled “Password Changed Successfully” will be sent to your registered email address.
For security reasons, the email will not contain your new login password.
